Rosemarie Mosler, 73, of Chula Vista, CA passed away on August 31, 2024, after a long illness with cancer and congestive heart failure. Rosemarie was born to Henry and Mary Mosler in Rochester, NY and moved to La Mesa, CA with her family when she was 7. After graduating from Grossmont High School, she received her bachelor's and master's degree in education from San Diego State University. She started a 35-year career as an English teacher primarily at Castle Park Middle School in Chula Vista.

Rosemarie enjoyed having a good meal and joking around with her family. During the summers when she wasn't teaching summer school, she traveled extensively with friends visiting 49 states and loved trying new adventures such as parasailing on the beaches in Mexico, cruising the inside passage of Alaska, or driving along the Florida Keys.

Rosemarie is preceded in death by her father and mother, sister Elizabeth, and brothers Edward and Richard. She is survived by her sister Patricia (Alex) and her niece. Rosemarie was a long-time member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego, CA on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 1 PM.
