Rosemary Helen
Doscher
February 1, 1940 – July 28, 2021
Rosemary Helen Doscher, 81, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at her home in San Diego, CA on July 28, 2021. She was born February 1, 1940 in Jersey City, NJ.
Rosemary earned a master ' s degree in Business Administration from Farleigh Dickinson University and worked for many years as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Roche. Upon retirement she sold her house in Ramsey, NJ and relocated to her oceanfront condo in Brigantine, NJ with her longtime partner Brian Slowey where they made lifelong friendships at the Cloisters. Rosemary volunteered time to various organizations in Brigantine and always planned the community get-togethers. Upon Brian's passing, Rosemary's heart led her to move cross country to be with her son Mark, daughter-in-law Leslie, and their two sons, Ashton (9) and Bennett (7). Her two years in San Diego saw Rosemary attend countless baseball games, school events, and weekly dinners with her family. Nothing made her happier than this time spent together.
Rosemary adored her cats Melanie and Holly and enjoyed planting flowers to beautify her balcony. Rosemary had a love of the ocean, both the Atlantic and Pacific, and loved to live near the water. She generously donated to the ASPCA, St. Jude's, and St. Michael's Catholic School where her grandsons attend.
Rosemary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Leslie Doscher and her grandsons Ashton and Bennett of San Diego, CA.; brothers Chuck Campbell of Florida and Edwin Elliot (Wendy) of New Jersey; sisters and their spouses, Dennise (Kenneth) Tracey & Cathy (Kenneth) Gibbs all of New Jersey.
Funeral services will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Poway, CA, Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. A second service will be planned for a future date in Bergen County, NJ.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Rosemary ' s memory to St. Michael ' s School Poway or The Helen Woodward Animal Center of San Diego.
