Scott David Bridgman passed away at his home in Poway, CA on Sunday, October 21, 2018.  He was 56 years old.  Scott was born in Escondido, CA to John & Mary Bridgman on November 3, 1961.

Scott grew up in Poway and earned a bachelor's degree from Palomar College.  He worked for many years with local fire departments, most recently retiring in 2016 as Senior Fire Safety Inspector in Poway.

Scott loved to spend time hunting and fishing with his close friends.  He has been a cat lover all his life and will be missed by his feline children, Shelby, Milo and Brody.  Scott was very active in mentoring and coaching in the community. He was a man of God and showed his faith by attending Maranatha Chapel, where he served on the security team.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, his childhood sweetheart, Diana of Poway, CA.; son Brandon, daughter in law Kate of Ocean Beach, CA.; sister Tina Marie, brother in law Antimo of Vista, CA; nephew Antimo G. Martedi and granddaughters Jaidyn and Avery Bridgman.

A memorial service will be held at Maranatha Chapel on November 1, 2018 at 1pm.  Inurnment will take place at a future date at Dearborn Memorial Park in Poway.
