Sharlene D. Greene's Obituary
Sharlene Diane Greene of Poway left us peacefully on September 1, 2022 to join Our Heavenly Father. She was born on August 24, 1950 in Chicago, the only child of her loving parents the late Theodore and Catherine Seel.
Beloved wife of James, Sharlene is also survived by her daughter Kimberley Newcomb of Los Angeles and her stepdaughter Aimee Wilcox (Brian) of Poway and four grandchildren (Blake, Garrett, Chase and Ella.)
Sharlene graduated from El Camino College in Torrance, Ca and earned her BA Degree in Marketing from California State University in Northridge. Her working career was nearly all in the healthcare arena in Southern California including Blue Cross, HealthNet, Aetna and she was a retiree of
Kaiser Permanente.
She was a very caring and giving person and lived a very fulfilling life. Sharlene loved people and was very active in the community serving as a member of The Assistance League, poll worker, census taker and as an advocate for sensible community development.
A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held later on a date to be determined. Donation to your favorite charity in her memory is suggested in lieu of flowers.
