To my Beloved Sweetheart,
Thirty years have come and gone
but our love will continue on.
Through good times and bad,
Through happy times and sad,
with our ups and downs
you have stood by me.
These many years have set me free
that's why I'm still here
and wishing for another thirty years.
Sharon Frances Trinity, 73, died October 12, 2020, at her home in San Diego, California.
Sharon was born on March 28, 1947 in Quanah, Texas to James and Nita McCutchan. She grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Tascosa High School in 1965. Sharon grew up in a loving home and spent her young life enjoying time with family and friends. She lived in Texas and Oklahoma for over 40 years and in 1990 she moved to San Diego, where she met and married Ralph Trinity.
After moving to San Diego, Sharon discovered so many ways to contribute to her community. Over a 16-year period, she devoted countless hours and resources to help others. She volunteered several nights a week working with support groups and workshops to help those who had been widowed, like Suddenly Alone and Love Core. She also spent years volunteering with the Greenways Group planting trees around the San Diego area. Sharon became a Reiki Master and volunteered her time at local hospitals to help patients with their emotional and physical healing.
Sharon enjoyed hiking the mountains of San Diego with Ralph and spending time at the community center doing crafts and ceramics. She would often make ceramics to give to her loved ones. Sharon also loved to send cards to family and friends. She would spend so much time at the store reading the cards, just to find the perfect one to let someone know she was thinking about them, or to lift them up when they needed it.
She discovered her favorite way to vacation in 2017 when she and Ralph took a cruise to Mexico. She enjoyed it so much that she decided she wanted to go on an Alaskan cruise and in 2019 she did just that and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Sharon also loved OU Football and even though she was far from Oklahoma, she cheered for the Sooners each game.
Sharon is survived by her husband Ralph Trinity; three daughters and their spouses, Michelle and Jim Wright, Cyndy and Raymond Calbat, Cathy and David Willoughby; one son and his spouse, Brian and Reyna Holmes; and 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Nita McCutchan; her infant brother, Baby Boy McCutchan; and her son Michael Trinity.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary. In lieu of flowers or donations, please display an act of kindness to someone you know or even someone you do not know. Sharon loved helping others and paying it forward is a great way to honor her memory.
