Shawn Lee Baird passed away in Poway, CA on August 7, 2025.  He was born in Portland, OR on July 26, 1970 to Charles and Virginia Baird.  Shawn had just recently celebrated his 55th birthday days before his passing.

After graduating high school, Shawn worked as a video game developer and programmer for more than 30 years.  He enjoyed watching TV and of course, playing video games.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Yoshiko Baird of San Diego; son Logan and daughter Emma both of San Diego, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A viewing will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 at Poway-Bernardo Mortuary from 4 to 8pm.  There will be a time for sharing at 6pm.
