Sherman "Chuck" Louis DeLorme passed away in Poway, CA on May 28, 2024.  He was born May 20, 1937 in Worley, ID to Edward and Mary DeLorme.  Chuck had just turned 87 years old.

After a couple years of college, Chuck enlisted in the United States Navy.  He served 20 years, retiring as a Yeoman 1st Class in 1988. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the San Francisco Giants and Las Vegas Raiders. Chuck enjoyed playing softball and was on leagues for both the military and city of San Diego.  He was member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes in Montana, the VFW, and also a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in San Diego, CA.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Darlene; daughters Danielle and Michelle all of San Diego, CA.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

A committal service with military honors will take place at Miramar National Cemetery at 9:30am, Monday, June 24, 2024.
