Stella Louise Denne (1930 – 2020)

Stella was born in Longmont, Colorado, the youngest of 9 children, to Pryor and Jenny.  Raised on a farm, Stella grew up with a love of nature and animals.  In 1948, she met the love of her life, Harold, who would join the Air Force and take Stella on a wonderful life of travel and adventure.  Harold was a career Fire Chief in the military, moving his family several times across the United States and overseas to France, England, and Germany.  Stella was always ready to move her 4 children and their household when new assignments came up.  Stella spent a large part of her life volunteering at the Junior Women's Club, Women's Club, and Soroptimists.  In the mid-1970s, she became an accomplished Real Estate Broker in Palm Desert, California.  She will be greatly missed by her children, Sharon Wilson, Rita Denne Bragg, Harold M. Denne, R. W. Denne, 5 grand-children, 12 great-grand-children, and 5 great-great-grand-children.
