Vincent Diego Malgapo passed away peacefully at his home in San Diego, CA on May 3, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. Born to Vicente & Zenaida Malgapo on October 29, 1967 in Baltimore, MD, Vince was 57 years young.

He worked for more than 25 years in electronic engineering for the aerospace and defense industry where he made many close friends. His knack for building and fixing things came in very handy both in and outside of his professional career.

Vince was an avid car enthusiast and belonged to several car clubs. He enjoyed exploring new places including visiting as many National Parks as he could, driving cross country multiple times, and visiting several countries in Europe and Asia. In his final years, he particularly enjoyed visiting the Philippines and spending time with extended family abroad. The way to his heart was through his stomach. He loved a good adventure ending with a hearty meal as equally as pizza and wings on a football night.

He is survived by his loved ones to which he dedicated his life, Rosalinda Hurndon of San Diego, CA and her three daughters Laura Zlaket of Escondido, CA and children Lisa, Erica, and Jacob, Adrienne Williams of Eldersburg, MD and Samantha Marr of Houston, TX; sister Grace Lee of Oregon; nieces Annika, Erika and Celina; and godchildren Evelyn, Corinne, Wayden and Dylan Williams.; and many aunts and cousins who loved him dearly.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church on May 23, 2025 at 11:00 am, with a luncheon to follow.
