Virginia Ellen Froemel passed away in Chula Vista, CA on August 27, 2023.  She was born to John and Ellen Froemel in Rahway, NJ on September 18, 1958.  Virginia was 64 years old.

After graduating college, Virginia worked as a librarian for more than 30 years.  She was an avid reader and collector of many books.  Having a love for dogs, she was a member of the Labrador Club of Poway. She has rescued many labs allowing them to find their forever homes.

Virginia is survived by her brother Steven Froemel and his wife Debbie of Strasburg, VA.; sister Linda Higginson and her husband Stephen of Yucca Valley, CA.; 3 nieces, 5 nephews and 14 great nieces & nephews whom she loved dearly.

A graveside service will take place at Dearborn Memorial Park in Poway, CA at 1:00pm, Monday, October 9, 2023.  Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Heart Association.
