Warlito Pampo
Falucho
April 7, 1942 – November 19, 2024
A proud Philippine born, naturalized American, and Retired United States Navy Petty Officer First Class (SK1), Warlito P. Falucho peacefully went home to his Father in Heaven from his earthly home in San Diego, California.
The youngest child to Francisco and Feliza Falucho, at an early age, Warlito enlisted in the US Navy like his father and with influence from his brother-In-law. At his first assignment in Florida, he toured on duty around the Gulf of Mexico where he met the love of his life Nurse Teresita O. Dumaguing RN, and married in Galveston, Texas. With the support of his family, he proudly served 22 years as a Storekeeper aboard fast attack submarines contributing to efforts in Vietnam, Cuban Missile Crisis deterrence, stateside drug interdiction, and various "Data Masked" missions. Aside from his normal crew duties, he was known to many who genuinely took care of his men, never to let them go to bed after toiling on shift without a warm meal. After the military, he joined the Civil Service as a humble storekeeper often garnering praise and recognition from his superiors until his final retirement. His enduring values and principles while serving his country carried over to his family life, prioritizing the happiness and wellbeing of his family above his own self interests. A proud American Patriot and Family Man, he was the embodiment of excellence and selfless service, leaving a legacy of such character admired and awed by those he met. Friends, family, and shipmates are all that much better because of him.
The memory of Warlito Falucho lives on in the hearts of his sons David and Daniel, grandchildren Gabrielle and John Thomas of late daughter Josephine Thomas, and grandchildren Jonathan, Claire, Serena, Reyna, Lucia from David.
